Afterschool Program Keeps Children On Track

At Oak Grove Middle School, the end of the school day signals a
new beginning. From 3:30 to 6 p.m., Kim Engle and Cathy Cook coordinate an after-school program that serves up to 110 students each day. Seventy percent of them are recipients of the free and reduced lunch program.

Lights On Afterschool

A big thank you and congratulations to all: your hard work made Lights On Afterschool another huge success! More than a million people rallied for afterschool programs at 7,552 events nationwide. And, more than 130 people "attended" our first-ever online rally for Lights On Afterschool on Facebook!
