The ASPIRE Program
About the Program
The After School Program Intensive Reading/Mathematics Education (ASPIRE)
Program is a subset of the CARES After Schoool Program. ASPIRES provides
extended learning, tutoring and academic supports to students who are
eligible for Supplemental Education Services. ASPIRE offers small group
classes (4-6 students) clustered by skill level. Classes are offered 2-3
days per week for 1-1.5 hours. The following curriculum is used: Read
Naturally K-5, Read 180 Middle & High, and MySkills Tutor K-12.
The ASPIRE Program is offered at the following school sites in the Mount
Diablo Unified SchoolDistrict:
- Shore Acres Elementary
- Cambridge Elementary
- Meadow Homes Elementary
- Bel Air Elementary
- Riverview Middle
- Glenbrook Middle
- Fair Oaks Elementary
- Ygnacio Valley Elementary
- Oak Grove Middle
- Rio Vista Elementary
